Zinat Begum

Zinat Begum is a results-driven development and humanitarian assistance coordination expert with more than 15 years of professional experience. This includes five years of proven leadership in strategic planning and program implementation with a wide spectrum of nonprofit organizations in Asia and Africa. Zinat has helped manage crises in Yemen, South Sudan, India, Nepal, and other countries. At Jhpiego, Zinat is using her experience to develop and refine Jhpiego’s comprehensive response before, during, and after humanitarian crises. As Jhpiego’s first senior humanitarian advisor, she is focused on integrating our past practices in crisis situations—natural and political—to fully address the health and protection needs of communities.
