TIPTOP generated evidence to support C-IPTp scale-up and to inform WHO change in policy recommendation updates targeting sub-Saharan Africa.
C-IPTp has helped to increase total IPTp coverage significantly. Additionally, there is no evidence that C-IPTp negatively affects ANC attendance, and in some areas C-IPTp actually had a positive effect.
