Michele Brennan is a doctor of physical therapy and has worked in outpatient orthopedics. She earned her doctoral degree at the University of Southern California, where she also received her BS in gerontology with a minor in business administration. While studying physical therapy, she designed an ongoing pro bono program for the university that provides screening and fitness opportunities for at-risk populations for diabetes, called Fit Families. Currently, she primarily provides car service for her two children, is on the Education Commission for Temple Israel of Hollywood and is an ambassador for the Silverlake Conservatory of Music. Ms. Brennan and her husband, Kent Alterman, were recipients of the Elyse Bila Ouedrago Award at the Laughter Is the Best Medicine Gala in 2016.
