Molly Sims is an entrepreneur, actress, model, NYT bestselling author, podcast host, founder of YSE Beauty, producer and philanthropist.
This past April, Sims launched her skincare brand, YSE Beauty (pronounced “wise”), named Instyle’s Best Beauty Buys of 2023. YSE Beauty is a clinically proven and dermatologist-tested line that targets women with uneven skin texture and hyperpigmentation, a condition Sims has suffered from for years. Sims perfected her holy grail skincare routine after three years of research and development—testing hundreds of formulations.
Known for her fashion, beauty and wellness content on social media and her lifestyle site, Sims is also the author of two bestselling books in the space, and her podcast Lipstick on the Rim features health and beauty experts and industry friends discussing trends and products and ranks in the top five shows for fashion and beauty podcasts across all podcast platforms.
On the film and TV front, Sims’ acting credits include NBC’s Las Vegas and films Benchwarmers and Starsky and Hutch. More recently, she appeared opposite David Spade and Lauren Lapkus in Netflix’s The Wrong Missy. In 2021, Sims launched a multimedia production company, Something Happy Productions. Current projects include the Netflix Emmy award-winning TV series Get Organized with the Home Edit and counts Sims as an executive producer alongside Reese Witherspoon; and the upcoming Netflix films’ We Were Never Here and The Last Mrs. Parrish, on which Sims is a co-producer.
As a philanthropist, Sims works closely with Baby2Baby, a mega diaper bank and nonprofit organization that provides essential items to children in need across the country. She is also an active Ambassador for Jhpiego, an international, nonprofit health organization affiliated with The Johns Hopkins University dedicated to improving the health of women and families.
Sims lives in Los Angeles with her husband and three children.
