Christopher Morgan

Dr. Morgan is the Technical Director of Immunization, based in Jhpiego’s Washington office, overseeing our immunization portfolio in global projects and through support to country offices – featuring life course vaccination, promotion of immunization equity, integration of immunization with other services, and promoting more involvement of the private sector. He supports our engagement with Gavi, U.S. Agency for International Development, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, World Health Organization, Unicef and other partners. Dr Morgan is a pediatrician, public health physician, and implementation research expert with 30 years of experience in immunization and related health areas, as well as the application of development assistance in low- and middle-income countries. He also serves in honorary capacity on WHO and other advisory groups related to immunization policy, including chairing a WHO regional immunization advisory group, and as a member of the WHO Strategic Advisory Group of Expert’s COVID-19 Vaccines Working Group.
