Exciting news! The Jhpiego-led, Unitaid-funded AMPLI-PPHI (Accelerating Measurable Progress and Leveraging Investments for Postpartum Hemorrhage Impact) project has reached tens of thousands of women with critical drugs to prevent and treat postpartum hemorrhage, a leading cause of maternal deaths worldwide. The project, operating now in four countries — Democratic Republic of Congo, Guinea, India, and Kenya — will expand to Nigeria and Zambia with an additional $5.9 million in funding from the European Union.
