eLearning gets A-plus in Ghana

With the Ghana Ministry of Health eLearning Secretariat, the U. S. Agency for International Development’s flagship Maternal and Child Survival Program (MCSP), led by Jhpiego, has been deploying an eLearning platform called Moodle to midwifery and nursing schools across the country to great success.

USAID, Jhpiego and the Ethiopian Midwifery Association have worked to strengthen the capacity of midwifery teaching institutions and increase the number of graduating students in midwifery by promoting the profession. Without these efforts, the current status of the midwifery profession would have been difficult to reach.
